Around perimeter early this morning, Eastern Wood Pewee heard on east drive where it meets the Long Meadow; lots of house wrens on west drive near Center Drive; and the usual cardinals and robins

Early in the morning around the park perimeter I heard a white-throated sparrow near the Long Meadow, a eastern pewee near Grand Army Plaza, some chickadees, house wrens, and the usual city birds.

Notes: Went into the Ravine looking for Red-tailed Hawk fledglings.
Two, apparently, healthy eyasses were observed in the woods a short
distance from their nest. One called frequently, begging for food from
adults.
