What a day in PP. Besides the thousands of humans runners, the warblers were amazing, and I recorded 15 sps!!!!
Among them, 2 Hooded (Vale & Lookout Hill), 2 Magnolias, 1 Prairie, 2 Worm-eatings were the stars of this morning.
But despite the human traffic, the bird sps were very generous, and I have over 60 sps (see list below), a record for a lousy dark & chilly day of Spring '08.

On a tour of Brooklyn City Parks (named the Big Brooklyn Birding Day) led by Urban Rangers Tom Kerr and Tony Prastaro during our stop at Prospect Park we saw an Indigo Bunting at the beginning of the Peninsula while looking for the Bobolink. Also of note was a White-Crowned Sparrow behind the skating rink, and my first Rose-Breasted Grosbeak behind the Pagoda on the Midwood side of the water.
