9/13 report

BBG= Brooklyn Botanic Garden

 

BBG's birding class saw 46 species, including 12 warblers, at its
inaugural fall session. Birds seemed numerous at first, red eyed
vireos in particular, but numbers tapered off. We still saw good
variety, especially warblers in the Lullwater and Peninsula during the
early afternoon. List follows.
