Today' count was a cold ,frigid one , so I am glad I do it in Prospect and not some some forbidden stretch on the windy coast, though I could be termed hardy for that task. Prospect has always been my count location for at least the last quarter century and today was a rewarding one. With my droopy eyelids, i wont have the time to make up a rough list (hopefully tomorrow) .But I can say that Prospect recorded a wonderful 59 species; the overall Brooklyn Count tallied 123 species, which according to the count compiler, was the average ( I asked for the file ,so will wait for it) . Here's to the brave and hardy counters, doing a fun cherished event regardless of the weather. Hats off!
