September 1st "Thursday Autumn series" Prospect Park
Trip Leader: Tom Stephenson
Focus: early autumn passerines
From Tom Stephenson leading:
Hi Peter,
Well, we had a good group of about 15 today, all excellent birders and willing to jump across tall trees to find the birds...
All in all it was fairly slow in general. Some good activity in the Vale, indicating some movement last night.
Warbler wise we had 10 species.
Jessie Ross had the Chat on the switchback trail, but we couldn't find it again.
Here's the list of the birds the group had plus a couple of additional species that Elise, Kathy and Emily had on the Peninsula and that I had on my way back from Lookout.
Best regards,
Tom
