10/14th Prospect : Snow Goose and Woodcock , a good mix...


SNOW GOOSE just took off from the lake west shore (9 am)-low flyover over Wellhouse..However latest report is from Rob Bate who observed the goose at or near the Rink per 11:27 am text message

Alan Baratz saw AMERICAN WOODCOCK on the lawn just inside the park (entrance) from the Coney Island/PPSW Ave 's Park  Circle around 8 a.m.

Walking by the construction fence spot (Near and south of the rink) that juts out into the lawn, 5 different species sparrows appeared: Field, Swamp, White-throated, Chipping and White-crowned. All were in the same fence corner.
