Report from Eni Falci

 
 
Hi Peter. 
 
 I have been out in the park the last three days and have sited a number of warblers with today's being the most variety. Also saw Kestrel ( Flyover Penninsula then Maryland Monument Perched) yesterday morning with Paul's (Keim; 1st Sunday Walk) walk.

Today I walked the Lullwater  10am - 12pm Monday Aug. 4th and saw the following:
 
1 Black-crowned Night Heron (in tree past black walnut grove)
1 Green Heron (hunting lily pad)
2 Black & White Warblers (separate sightings)
2 Redstarts m/f
2 Yellow Warblers (separate)
2 Northern Waterthrush (separate)
1 Spotted Sandpiper (black plastic)
1 Juvenile Redtail Hawk (flyover Maryland Monument to Lullwater)
3 Downy Woodpeckers 2 fem/ 1 male
2 Flickers pair
5 Eastern Kingbirds (1st year)
1 Baltimore Oriole (1st year male)
1 Chickadee
3 Tufted Titmice
Also regulars:
33 Mallards including 3 chicks
Mute Swan and grey juvenile
Blue Jay
Grackle
Robins many juveniles
Catbirds
Cardinals
Starlings
Barn Swallows
Doves
Pigeons
House Sparrows
