Text message: Steve Nanz reports BLACK VULTURE flyover with Turkey Vultures over Prospect Lake this morning. This sighting is the first one seen since May 22,23 1938
Later Details : I spotted a Black Vulture in Prospect Park at about 8:00am. It circled for
about 15 minutes before I lost sight of it.
Also saw Blue-headed Vireo on Lookout Hill

From Janet Schumacher: pair of Blue-winged teals on upper pool along with pair of wood ducks plus one male plus two female Ring-necked ducks around 10:30 this morning. So many kinglets in the park this morning--especially Ruby crowned.
