Aug 16th Prospect Park : too hot to bird

Without much favorable wind to take heed to, the birding was very slow.Yet, a long and slow walk around the Butterfly Meadow revealed several warblers or vireos for enjoyment and numerous Baltimore Orioles devouring the area's cherries. 3 Yellow Warblers plus a ruffled Magnolia Warbler with Warbling and Red-eyed Vireos provided interest. When the next good wind hits, we certainly will see more numbers.I'll watch then.
