MORE 9/16,MORE COWA! + GWC List

Monitor's note: Besides Prospect Park, A 2nd connecticut warbler (COWA)

today was also seen in Greenwood Cemetery.

see the map on the left sidebar for the Greewood Cemetery map.

Here is the report from Mike Zablocky:

At about 10:00 AM I had a 1st winter Connecticut Warbler feeding

along the edges of the composting area

(on the map look for Crescent Water, you'll see mounds of

dirt on the way to the pond).

Unfortunately, a lot of work is going on in Greenwood today.

I had the bird within six feet of me for almost five minutes

when a motorized lawnmower went by. The Connecticut

flushed and I couldn't relocate it.
