A late afternoon walk (3:00 until I couldn't see anymore). I was surprised by a few characters (Black Throated Blue, Towhee) that I didn't expect to see until next spring. Also—a terrifying screeching fly-over by a huge white parrot. Somebody must have left the cage door open...
