March 23rd Prospect & BBG briefings

Hilights : Orange-Crowned Warbler (during AM) hanging out with Golden -Crowned Kinglet ( Lullwater) ; (3 pm update) Orange-crowned Warbler seen along south Lullwater path north side Terrace Bridge,feeding in hackberry tree ; also of note , Pine Warbler, Eastern Towhee ( still a little early for this species), Great Egret

Orange-crowned Warbler (OCWA) on both sides of Lullwater, moving with a GC Kinglet.
Also 2 Yellow-rumps (warblers) and many Flickers.

Peter Dorosh saw the OCWA 3 PM near the Terrace Bridge ( see hilights at head of this posting)

1 pair wood ducks on Japanese pond
1 yellow-bellied sapsucker
1 downy woodpecker
several song sparrows
4 Canada geese (unusual for BBG)
Usual complement of white-throated sparrows, bluejays, mallard ducks, orthern cardinals, morning doves, and American robins
