Upcoming Easter Sunday walk; a request

This holiday weekend, there is one bird walk , the FIRST SUNDAY GROUP which meets at the Prospect BOATHOUSE AUDUBON CENTER.This is usually a two hour walk.

Message from Michele Dreger :

It is going to be beautiful this weekend. Join us for our First Sunday of the month Bird Tour at 8am on Sunday, April 4th.

Sunday is Easter, so I will be with family. Eni and Vinny will be leading the tour.

Bring your binoculars..... Birding will be great. Early migrants and the nesting hawks should put on a great show.

I'm sure you will enjoy it.

Michele

From Andy Bernick, who requested my help . See his message below:

I’m looking for anecdotal bird information/records I can find on spring and fall migration through these areas : Calvary/New Calvary Cemetery, McCarren Park, Mcgolrick Park, etc. I’m trying to broadly describe the extent of migration through the Newtown Creek corridor and the surrounding park/cemetery parcels – if there are fallouts in these areas during prime conditions, what species/numbers have people observed, etc.
