the toll on trees; Prospect March 31st reports inc Orange-crowned Warbler

The latest "northeaster" storm deluge is continuing nature's wrath upon trees which cannot sustain their own weight on weakened, water soaked roots. A few more trees came down in Prospect from the deluge the past two days. But doing some research for the club newsletter, i was dismayed to hear of Greenwood Cemetery's own late winter devastation which was pretty bad. From Eddie Davis

Peter-

Finally, a little excitement in the park! I spotted
the Orange-Crowned Warbler in the same place
that it's been seen in the last week, just north
of the Terrace Bridge. Also, my first Osprey of the year,
a Lullwater fly-over.

Eddie
