From Tom Stephenson:

Prospect Park report --leading the Brooklyn Bird Club 10/10

Hi Peter.

Hope the fall colors are really spectacular in North.

Here's a list of what we saw yesterday. We had about 10 people for the trip. It threatened rain and drizzled a bit now and then, but all in all a nice fall day.
We had 10 species of warblers, but oddly, very few sparrows...Not even large numbers of White-throats yet.

Best regards,
Tom

From Rob Jett:

Greenwood Cemetery

Peter,

Had an excellent morning at Green-Wood
Cemetery today. Chipping Sparrows moving
through in huge numbers. Found one
Clay-colored Sparrow among the mix.
Also, still lots and lots of Palm Warblers,
flickers and phoebes. The wind picked up at
about 11am, so things started moving around
a lot, making birding tough.
