October 7th what a wind !

There isn't much to report on high wind days. During a circuit in the work vehicle, I noticed a large toppled tree by the Lincoln Ave park entrance. So, any wind that strong will keep the birds down.

However, during a work progress, I noted a low flying PEREGRINE FALCON just over the Maryland Monument. Pretty cool to see. Behind the rink, 2 Palm Warblers and an immature male INDIGO BUNTING secretly peeked out from the phragmite edges.

Hopefully , someone was out there today with more to report as i was too busy today.
