Hilights: 3 Pine Warblers (PIWA) behind Pools (between Upper & Lower) per Mike Yuan's early am text; later two PIWA seen still there hr later, then one in mid afternoon, in the Sweet gum adjacent to the back view of the Upper Pool; at the same locale low in saplings, Palm Warbler; continuing ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER in Lullwater; Osprey hunting over Prospect Lake PM; Merlin perched atop pine/spruce @ Cleft Ridge span, harassed by Blue Jay. also Tree Swallows

With the weather changed, and the news around the Big Apple of new arrivals (birds!!), I went to PP early (±8 am), looking for new sps for the FOS. But going thru the Vale, Midwood, around the Music Pagoda, Lullwater (I missed the OCWA!!), Peninsula, Lake; was quite quiet. But the action started around the Pools, where I saw my first Pine & Palm Warblers.
No much but these 2 sps of warblers made the day.
