April 7th Prospect Spring "sizzler"; Greenwood report

I heard the temperature reached 89 degrees today, supposedly tying the day record. ( I have to check weather.com).In any case : H-O-T days = diminished bird activity unless you get the birds at daybreak..

Kingsboider note: I checked accuweather.com..Looks like we busted the record. 90 degrees as of 3:45 pm for early April ? .... spring skipped us by already ????? Birds gone thru ?? Crazy.... world's (weather) gone batty..

Notable news: Black and White Warbler made its first spring appearance, reported by Mary Eyster at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden's Native Flora section, and also the PP Upper Pool.

Glossy Ibis flyovers , Northern Harrier in Greenwood Cemetery (D.Gochfeld)

There was a smattering of Pine Warblers, Yellow-rumped and Palm, some in the oak at the Center Drive curve;Belted Kingfisher at the Upper Pool (P.Dorosh)
