1st day GBBC 2/17

I submitted my first Great Backyard Bird Count list, today for Prospect.

The puzzling thing is the lack of passerines ( my whole lunch hour not seeing one !) .. No sparrows, no cardinals, little of else...weird..It must be February then... BUT two Coopers hawks, 2 RedTailed Hawks, a Peregrine on the BBGarden tower ( lowest tower wing strut)..Feeders had most of the passerines and woodpeckers...
