GHD: WWXB records for Prospect; Prospect reports
Today is Groundhog Day. Will it be spring early or more winter ? ( I thought Spring started yesterday ! and we get a WWXB ..Confusing...)
From the office records,a search of the White-winged Crossbill for Prospect Park is generated.
See the list below. Please note that the date's ending digits for the first birds are actually early 1900, 1909 (dark blue hilight)
Many records were lost in the first half of the 20th century.
As mention in my earlier post, yesterday's WWXB is Prospect's first since winter 1964. Generally speaking yesterday;s bird would be the 6th appearance for Prospark.
