American Birding Conservancy issued a page on Wind Energy ( commendable for green alternatives) which they call for safeguards for birds ( Bird Smart!). This item usually appears on my Conservation blog ( sidebar) but this is an important issue (like glass impacts) . It warrants a mention here.
