Ovenbird reported at the "Sparrowbowl" , the vale between the Tennis and Picnic Houses , seen yesterday foraging in the leaf clutter behind the fence ( Mike Yuan). This is a late warbler for this date.
On the parade grounds this morning ( 7 am) , a fog covered baseball field with the shapes of feeding Canada Geese within during a rising sun illuminating the fog. A terrific scene,like a postcard.
