Whimsical moment today while I was looking for the Pipit afar inside the ballfields fence; instead, the bird was on the stake very near me (see photo above). Because of its "camouflage", I didn't see it until I moved along the fence , without realizing I was approaching the pipit and it flicked its tail..8 weeks here and counting.Amazing.
