I'am back from my trip to the East End of Long Island ( 23 species ducks ! Iceland Gull, Lesser Black Backed Gull, Great Horned Owl,hen King Eider, massive flock Common Eiders at Shinnecock Inlet, terrific looking mile long stretch ice floes , some snow shoeing)

After the big storm of this week, and almost 4 weeks without visiting PP; today was a very cold experience. Most of the water at the lake was frozen, except for a little section, and the pools, frozen, too. Most of the activity I observed was around the feeders in Breezy Hill, and behind the Well House.
