Continuing the streak for consecutive days rarity in Prospect after yesterdays' Connecticut Warbler, SORA RAIL made news, a juvenile seen by Rob Bate at 8 am on the edges of Labella Cove. Better known as the "rink cove", this marshy phragmite infested spot is along the road from the Rink's concert grove where Lincoln stands, you will see the shore on the left before the road forks ( an imposing Bald Cypress stands here) into the Lullwater, and the rising path towards Terrace Bridge . The rail was not seen after the initial sighting.
Also in that same spot , I presume near the weedy edges, a LINCOLN SPARROW spotted by Rob. So, it must be the land of Illinois for the day at the southern Concert Grove.
