Possible Connecticut Warbler
email from Elyse Taylor
Hi Peter,
I did see a connecticut warbler when I was walking up the
paved path toward the maryland monument from the lull water.
paved path toward the maryland monument from the lull water.
It was on the right side of the path almost to the top of it.
What a surprise! Thanks for mentioning it to me.
Otherwise I saw very little. Did see a black crowned night
heron and a green heron in the lullwater.

I came right back after seeing the connecticut warbler.
I'll try to get to tomorrow's morning walk.
all the best,
Elyse

I went out to look for the possible Connecticut , along with Rob Bate and Eddie Davis and we three searched to no avail. Rob did see a WORM-EATING WARBLER (WEWA) in brush just below the water fountain at the north end of the Peninsula Sumac grove;also seen by Rob: BROWN THRASHER in the same spot as WEWA.
