Upcoming BBC Prospect walks

Please note upcoming Brooklyn Bird Club walks tomorrow and every September Thursday . Go to www.brooklynbirdclub.org/trips where the thursday walks were posted at the beginning of the BBC trips webpage.

I n addition, I noted that the American Museum of Natural History has a walk ( for AMNH members for a fee) on Sept 12th in Prospect led by Paul Sweet, one of Brooklyn's top birders. (btw, there is no BBC walk /trip that weekend). Go to their website www.amnh.org and check out "Happenings"

here's their posting partial details

Birding in Prospect Park
Join Museum ornithologist Paul Sweet to explore Prospect Park’s birding hot spots such as Lookout Hill, the Peninsula, Lullwater, Pagoda Pond, Midwood, the Vale of Cashmere, and Prospect Lake and to look for birds such as warblers, vireos, tanagers, and raptors.

By the way, if anybody wants to lead a walk on 9/11 in Prospect ( or Greenwood Cemetery) , let me know where and when, I'll put in the details here on this blog. Or it could be a group walk of birders meeting together. My email as usual is prosbird@aol.com
