From the horse trail that runs under the Boulder Bridge, north side about 200 feet, look up into the big Locust tree upslope ( Ricks Place is behind you) .At the treet trunk fork, just left of that fork , in small branches, a WHIP-POOR-WILL ,based on our preliminary consensus, is perched on one of the branches. Rob Jett took photos and will research further. But after viewing some internet images at work, I am going with the Whip-poor-will. It is a female based on creamy undertail wide band tip.
