Rafael Campos reported a juvenile BLUE GROSBEAK in the vale of cashmere; Acadian Flycatcher at Wellhouse; Yellow-crowned Night-heron in the Lullwater (quite rare for prospect). BTW, Louisiana Waterthrush bumps up the warbler species total to 13 for Thursday.

Kingsboider note/addendum: Yellow-crowned Night heron after a quick records search is only the 14th individual for this species seen  PP... Yay ! good going Rafael......

Observer: Rafael Campos R.

After the bad weather, today was an ideal one to visit PP.  As I walked by the Vale, I noticed a large, brownish bird.  I ID it as a juvenal Blue Grosbeak.  As for comparison, in the same area were House Finches & Indigo Buntings.

Warblers:  I noticed today several sps, like Yellow, BT Blue, Redstart, Yellowthroat, Black-and-white, Ovenbird.

At the lake, 1 lonely Forster's Tern + 3 Double-crested Cormorants.

An Empidonax seen behind the Well House, turned into a Acadian.
