First Sunday bird walk hilight

A female BALTIMORE ORIOLE was reported from Michele's Dreger's walk ( from the Boathouse). Below is a photo taken by Richard Wright  and more pics on his gallery

Oriole was seen on the Northwestern side of the lake behind the picnic tables. (Lamppost #249)

From Michele Dreger:

About 40 birders met at the Audubon Center at 10am on Sunday December 4.
Eni, Vinny and I took the group to the Vale via the Midwood. It was a beautiful sunny day and the birds cooperated.
After the walk, a few of us wandered over to the feeders, where we saw the 2nd Oriole of the day.
Then the last of the straggling birders walked to the lamppost 249 where they saw an orange crowned warbler and the 3rd Oriole of the day!
3 orioles in December? Hard to believe but true!!

Remember the First Sunday in January is New Year's Day. The walk is scheduled for 10am.
