Season's greetings; A bridge opens

The Kingsboider wishes Happy Chanukah to club members and birders celebrating today's festivity.

One of the best spots to bird in Prospect is realized after over a decade closure. In its state of disrepair, closed inside a chain link for over ten years, the Nethermead Bridge --also known as "3 Arches" -- has reopened at the top of the old iconic span. Repair work and new parapet walls enables birders to now look over and down at the Ravine/Binnen watercourse when in spring time, one can thoroughly enjoy warblers and other delights.

Good to see the old span at the top is back ! :)>
