4/19 A quiet morning in Greenwood Cemetery

To counter the heavy crowds of yesterday, I took a rarely done walk inside Greenwood cemetery , with its full bloom cherries and magnolias. Highlights were at least 35 Chipping Sparrows feeding on mulched stumps along Amaryllis path at Vine Ave, a Red tailed Hawk in its nest and a heightened increase of Hermit Thrushes signifying a notable push of this species. Its a great place to be in springtime for some "serenity".
