Prospect Breeding Birds Census volunteers needed for NYCAS

Dear birders.

This spring , the New York City Audubon Society wants to conduct a breeding bird census of Prospect Park ( last year was Central Park) ; The census period is about May 24th into July.

There is need for birders to cover individual sections of Prospect Park, designated to those of you who come forth and register. There is a workshop . Its an exciting venture especially in the Brooklyn Bird Club's 100th year. I have the file of the draft of the protocols sent me by Susan Elbin, director of Conservation for NYCAS. Please read and register with Kirsten Klipp at kirstenklipp@gmail.com
