4/20 Raindrops keep falling on my head.....
Todays forecast doesnt help birding at the least...with raindrops good for flowers and plants, the birds obviously take a holiday. However on my way to work and from work, Black-crowned Night Herons took refuge on the southern islands, namely Three Sisters and Duck Island, five on the latter, and three on the former. Barn Swallows dont care about raindrops, their sleek bodies slicing thru the air without hesitation over Prospect Lake and a few Palm warblers scattered along the south lakeshore....yes, better days beckon ahead. Today is more of a rest...
