In an effort to foster birding throughout Brooklyn, I agreed to lead a short duration bird walk for the Brooklyn Bridge Park on April 30th at 9 am .The meeting spot I presumed is at the park building at the end of Old Fulton Street (Fulton Ferry ) , by the Barge music boat.. The BBPark habitat is its infancy, a very young green space that will be improving over time .We should see some migrants then..If not, the Manhattan skyline views i have to say are fantastic! anyway , click below on the link for details and hopefully some brooklyn bird club members and guests will show up .
Nearest train is the A or C line to High Street..Or from Jay street /Court St subway, walk only 10 minutes down past Cadman Plaza along Court St. to the Brooklyn Bridge, turn left to the waterfront.
