"Special posting"
On occasions, since migrating birds may fly in front of it ( I need to justify this posting :)> ) , the moon is a terrific space object to look at. Tonight there is a ( if clear skies is afforded us) special event. "Super Perigee" ( according to the news) moon is happening at tonight's rising, when the moon looks super sized...

Yesterday I and Mary E went to Staten Island,where we saw snipes at Mt Loretto...but the greatest highlight especially for a deaf guy was hearing 1000's of Spring Peepers at a Great Kills marsh spot, just behind the US Park Police building. The din was really LOUD ! ( just the way i needed it)

#78 bus from the Ferry and a very nice long walk is well rewarding..Also we saw over 60 + Gannets offshore at Crookes Point.
