Prospect March 16th : MERGANSER trifecta rarity !

As of 11:50 am, ALL 3 species Mergansers are present in Prospect Park !

1. drake , hen pair of COMMON MERGANSERs on Prospect Lake middle
2. drake, hen HOODED MERGANSERs with # 1 Prospect Lake
3. drake RED-BREASTED MERGANSER on the Boathouse pond (Audubon Center)
