A text message while I was leading the BBC in the Floyd Bennett region was Prospect first of the season PINE WARBLER in Vale of Cashmere Per Eddie Davis..also reported are continuing Pine Siskin and Ring-necked Duck
This is indicating that spring is slowly revealing itself with Pine Warbler reported today while my group saw Eastern Phoebe in Four Sparrow Marsh ( but the best bird was a soaring COMMON RAVEN at Floyd Bennett, my first for Kings County as well as for other trip participants).Check later the BBC field trips reports on the side menu for the day list .
