I noted the last remaining feeder was empty while working in the area today. This marks the official end of the feeder season. I will take down the last feeder by the end of the week.
I want to take this opportunity to thank all for their kind donations whether it was cash or physical seed. And also I want to thank all for coming by to see whats up at the feeders all winter long. I am glad the feeders and its birds delighted everyone ! Among the best sightings were the loyal PINE SISKINS and the COMMON REDPOLL marking season long and single day highlights respectively; Of course, just seeing the usual birds was a terrific and welcomed delight in the best of days and the snowiest of days. Below is an export report from the Cornell ebirds website feeder results. 39 species were recorded.
Till then , in next late November, good birding .
