Latest on threatened 4 Sparrow Marsh preserve

As you may already know about, here's the latest on 4 Sparrow , which is a delightful  birding spot . This past weekend my group walk saw Eastern Phoebe and low flying Turkey Vulture. My friend Tom Preston saw the next morning 3 American Woodcock and Merlin.The marsh is renown at this time of year for Wilson's Snipes.( Its only a 10 minute walk south on Flatbush Ave , from the bus last stop at Kings Plaza. Look for the weedy lot next to the Toys R Us.There used to be a sign "4 Sparrow Preserve" , but we know it was taken down "mysteriously" )  .-Kingsboider
