Slow summer days and today was one.There was a minor flurry of warblers below the south side of 3arches / nethermead bridge reported by Mary Eyster,viewing Chestnut-sided Warbler,
Yellow Warbler and American Redstart,seen around 830
Also during this period, a flyover BLACK VULTURE
Later,running into Isabel Conte and Edith Goren,2 Chestnut -sided wablers were seen at the bridge top by the path leading to the stairs which i was fortunate to see after Edith's spotting.A very pretty fall warbler,with its drastic change from its spring plumage.
Thunderstorms are forecasted for tonight and tomorrow but there is supposed to be a wind shift from the north midday Saturday.Might be an opportunity then,who knows except get into the field and look.
