If also adding Screech Owl seen Oct 18th in the Boerum Hill section, North Brooklyn tallied 200 species ( ok , I am stretching it, but Brooklyn does have it all.)

Kingsboider note: I check Cornell's Ebird database to find out the total for Kings County in 2009.It says the total was 285 .But some species are non specific (listed as genera) , or hybrids. So 9 aren't true identifications , that makes it 276. So, the Prospect Park region ( and her green neighbors) accounted for about 72 % of the total species for Kings County..Pretty impressive !
