October 3rd Prospect "slow day..quite a fall-off"

It appears much of yesterday's stuff took off ..already : ( .Northeast wind and another impending storm system might have been a good cause  for the "fall-off" of birds. John did see the lingering Gray-Cheeked Thrush. There are a few Brown Creepers ,a sign of late fall birds shifting of the guard. We will have to wait till the end of the week for perhaps high activity ( without high anxiety) ..But this latest report--Kathy Toomey came thru with a bird for the day : male HOODED WARBLER seen on the back path of Upper Pool
