Brooklyn Bridge right where it's at; late brief Prospect report

Larry Zirlin informed me that Brooklyn Bridge Park --under a strange quirky location listing in New York County's side--has been corrected by the Cornell Ebird folks into Kings County per his correspondence to them. So , anytime you visit and see birds at Brooklyn Bridge Park, if you input into Ebirds , the sightings are now under "Kings County", right where they should be....

Brooklyn Bridge Park, despite its very young creation and small native plantings, nevertheless has been getting nice birds..Just shows you: when new habitat and green space is created, birds will come ....

A late usual walk along south Lakeside after work revealed RUSTY BLACKBIRD and PURPLE FINCH female in the same ash tree behind the West Island phragmite cove. Also farther east , nearer Duck Island, Brown Creeper and offshore late Laughing Gull

All south lake unless noted
