Glass bus shelter deathtrap at north end of Grand Army Plaza

My sister coming home from work this afternoon , found 5 dead HERMIT THRUSHES together in a line inside the all glass walled bus shelter at PLAZA STREET and VANDERBILT AVE , at the north apex of Grand Army Plaza. Apparently the five HETH might have been one flock that flew into the shelter interior and collided into the glass. This is dastardly.. I have to write to the MTA, but will they care ???

Regarding that nasty shelter here is that site on the google map

Why Glass is lethal ?

--because reflections of trees and surrounding shrubbery gives birds a false pretense yet dont see the invisible glass is solid barrier

On the last link, more regarding buildings but the concept is the same with glass reflections, no matter how large to small, etc.
