By the way, the Pine Siskins of yesterday were not the first of the year in Prospect 2010.There was one seen Jan 5th ,2010 by Peter Dorosh and Mary Eyster at the Nethermead (3 Arches) Bridge, natch in a Sweetgum Tree , where the seedballs highly attract this species. ( wherever there are Goldfinches, look for siskins this time around..)
